Geographically large with a sparse population, District 7 contains many small but mighty community groups and associations. Plenty of lakes, tons of forest land and trails, farms, and community halls all make District 7 a peaceful yet vibrant place to live in Kings County.
Cornwallis Square Village is the lone village in District 7 and it's shared by District 3 and 6 as well. The most densely populated areas are those around Berwick, south of Kentville on Highway 12 in North Alton and Highbury, and south of New Minas in Caanan Heights. Besides these areas, most of District 7 is very rural.
Community halls and associations can be found in Windermere, South Berwick, North Alton, South Alton, Blue Mountain, Canaan and White Rock. Many of these host jams regularly, and if you're a fan of Bluegrass music you've got plenty of options!
